Eclipse

Samiel Mitra

In heaven it can be dark too.
On the other side of the house,
on the flip side of the coin,
beyond the blind mirror in front of you.
Even in heaven you may feel a heavy night.
It is enough to make me turn my face from you,
to tremble at my own shadow
for all the stars of your love
fade away as a passing impression
melted in the bitter cup
already drunk by Jesus the Lord.
